Mark 4:23-24 (NIV) says...
23 If anyone has ears to hear, let them hear."
24 "Consider carefully what you hear," he continued. "With the measure you use, it will be measured to you—and even more.

Now, I quote the above passage to say this...
Your analysis is WRONG, because it is based upon a FALSE premise. Your premise apprears to be that Creflo Dollar has mistakenly defined WHAT FAITH IS...

But if you CONSIDER CAREFULLY WHAT
YOU HEAR... beginning at 3:29 of the video clip he is CLEARLY NOT defining WHAT FAITH IS but he is speaking on the APPLICATION OF FAITH in regards to HOW we should live...
After reading Hebrews 10:38 he repeats 2 times the following...
The just shall live, HOW? (by faith)...audience
The just shall live, HOW? (by faith)...audience

more proof at 4:00 of the video clip he says...
"The prescription appears to be very clear concerning HOW we live..."

As further proof that he has not yet defined what faith is... at 4:29 of the video clip the last thing that he says before you begin your commentary is the following...

"And, so ladies and gentlemen please understand the NEXT OBVIOUS QUESTION should be, if the just shall live by faith-- then we have got to make sure we understand what faith is..."

At then out of your own mouth... at 6:38 of the video clip you say... "O.K. so, by this point in the sermon he has'nt really defined what faith is..." and then just a few seconds later at 7:10 of the video clip you flip and say just the opposite "not only has he has given a faulty definition of faith, but now he's giving some mis-information..."

In conclusion, your analysis is IN ERROR, because you have mistakenly confused and attempted to contrast Creflo Dollar speaking about the APPLICATION OF FAITH with your definition of WHAT FAITH IS...

Agreed. Romans ch. 14 says to me not to jusdge. However, in several places in the Bible is tells us to 'use discernment and to not be mislead. Bad company corrupts good habits.' (paraphrasing)

bblade007, that is a bizarre question that cannot possibly be answered. No man can discern what is one's heart.

However, one CAN discern good and evil by comparing one's behavior and statements with the clear, consistent teaching of scripture. The scriptures repeatedly declare this is what we ought do.

Well, let me pose a more logical question...

In this "video clip" Creflo says that "the source of faith is the word of God" based upon Romans 10:17

You say... "No! The SOURCE is God!".

How do you distinguish that the "word of God"
and "God" are different in regards to the "source of faith"???

bblade007, the "Word of God" (as in The Bible) is indeed "A" source of faith because it is held to be God's Word to mankind. However, this is VERY DIFFERENT from being "THE" source of faith.

The bible teaches CLEARLY that "faith" is a GIFT from The Lord God Himself (Rom 12:3, Eph 2:8-9; 1 Cor 12:7).

So then it is THE BIBLE (not me) that says God is THE source of "faith". So Creflo Dollar is wrong, and there's simply no way around that. He took Rom 10:17 out of context to make his points.
